Start with one cat (not spayed, having four litters of four, half are females):
- In the first year, she will be responsible for 16 cats (1/2 females)
- 2nd year, these offspring will produce 154 cats, (1/2 females)
- 3rd year, production is 1,376 cats (1/2 females)
- 4th year, cat population has increased to 13,931
